Your role
You are responsible for designing technical setups and audio/communication plans and diagrams, as well as for co-ordinating installation and checking of equipment under your control in line with production needs. You also perform TV audio technician duties.

Skills:
Expertise in planning, programming, installing and operating multi-channel intercom systems (e.g., RTS and Riedel)
Expertise in operating a Lawo console is an asset
Expertise in planning, programming, installing and operating multi-source audio mixing equipment for complex remote specials (e.g., SSL and Digico)
Experience with recording, sound pickup and mixing
Multitrack music mixing experience
Experience in a variety of television production environments
Advanced knowledge of microphones, audio systems and the various audio consoles
Good auditory and artistic sensibilities
Ability to play one or more musical instruments is an asset
Flexibility and availability
Ability to work irregular shifts for varying lengths of time
Bilingualism is an asset
