Job Title: Bookkeeper
Reports to: Operations Administrator and Chief Financial Officer
Job Purpose: To support the clinic’s financial department.

Changepain Medical and Allied Health Clinic is an accredited innovative interdisciplinary Pain Centre specializing in individualized whole person pain and rehabilitation care. Using advanced neuroscience-based therapies, our highly experienced team of Doctors and Allied Health practitioners are passionate about helping people optimize brain and body performance, functional recovery, well-being and vitality.
We offer a blend of MSP, extended care, and private pay services to reduce the development of chronic pain before it happens and find ways to alleviate it when it impacts quality of life. We are an active training facility with the University of British Columbia. We are also a research center focused on treatment effectiveness and reducing barriers to care.

Who are you?
We are seeking a mature, confident candidate with prior bookkeeping experience and high attention to detail who is looking for a flexible part-time work arrangement to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong QuickBooks Online experience combined with accurate data entry and payroll experience.

Duties:
  • Perform data entry and maintain accurate records of financial transactions;
  • Process invoices, payments, and maintain related tracking reports;
  • Reconcile of accounts receivables, accounts payables and credit card transaction in QuickBooks;
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes;
  • Assisting bi-weekly payroll, preferably have with experience in ADP Workforce Now
  • Provide coverage to A/P and A/R functions if necessary.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks;
  • Other accounting duties as required.


General Skills and Abilities:
  • Minimum 2 years recent bookkeeping or accounting assistant experience;
  • Experience on ADP Workforce Now;
  • Certification/ Diploma in accounting an asset;
  • Proficient using Quickbooks Online;
  • Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail;
  • Proficiency in data entry and ability to work with numerical data;
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal;
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and financial services;
  • Produces accurate work;
  • Ability to meet deadlines and produce work on time;
Job Types: Contractor Part Time / Up to 20 hours per week.
Salary: $23.00-28.00 per hour.
