Shift Work Required: Yes - Some Evenings and Weekends
Range of Pay: Group 5 - $25.90 to $29.92 per hour
The start date will follow the selection process.
Characteristic Duties: Under the general supervision of the Recreation Centre Co-ordinator and Aquatic Trainer.
1. Provide information and monitor telephone calls.
2. Receive customers.
3. File, receive, record and balance all revenues and collections, rentals, season passes and other items pertaining to the Recreation Centre.
4. Perform cashier, clerical and typing duties as required.
5. Maintain hall contracts and logs, and public swimming reports.
6. Maintain petty cash funds.
7. Order supplies for the office and vending machines.
8. Perform inventory and reports as required.
9. Assist in preparing schedules, time sheets and other items as required.
10. Complete necessary forms for public registrations.
11. Control opening of the change rooms by a mechanical system.
12. Receive and distribute incoming mail.
13. Ensure vending machines, locker revenue is counted, rolled and deposited monthly.
14. Maintain numerical sequence of all membership cards and passes.
15. Act as First Aid back-up to swimming pool staff.
16. Assist in keeping the facility clean and tidy.
17. Develop and maintain a thorough working knowledge of CGS's Safety Manual and the applicable Provincial Legislation listed therein.
18. Perform other related duties as required.
