IT Support

Overview
We are seeking a part-time dedicated IT Support professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional technical support to our users, ensuring that all IT systems operate smoothly and efficiently. This role requires a strong understanding of the Windows operating systems, as well as experience with help desk operations and customer service. If you are passionate about technology and enjoy solving problems, we want to hear from you. This position involves part-time and on-call work and would be an ideal fit for someone currently in an support role learning track in school or looking for supplemental work.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line technical support for hardware and software issues across various platforms.
• Troubleshoot and resolve desktop support issues in a timely manner.
• Utilize ticketing systems to track and manage support requests.
• Assist users with software troubleshooting, including installation, configuration, and updates.
• Maintain documentation of issues and resolutions to enhance the knowledge base.
• Collaborate with team members to improve service delivery and user satisfaction.
• Ensure that all IT equipment is functioning properly and assist with necessary repairs or replacements.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with users at all levels.

Experience

• Proven experience in a help desk or technical support role.
• Proficiency in Windows 10/11 operating systems is essential.
• Experience with Microsoft 365.
• Familiarity with ticketing systems is preferred.
• Strong desktop support skills, including hardware troubleshooting and software installation.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly at the user level.
• Experience in software troubleshooting within an office environment is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4 – 10 per week
