Overview:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and hardworking Laborer to join our team. As a Laborer, you will be responsible for performing various tasks to support warehouse operations and ensure efficient distribution of goods.
Duties:
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks, ensuring proper handling of products
- Operate forklift to move materials and products within the warehouse
- Utilize warehouse management system to track inventory and locate items
- Perform order picking and packing duties to fulfill customer orders accurately
- Conduct basic math calculations to verify quantities and measurements
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse, including sweeping, mopping, and removing debris
- Assist in inventory counts and stock replenishment as needed
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
Skills:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center preferred
- Mechanical knowledge for operating equipment such as forklifts
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 40 lbs.) and perform physical tasks for extended periods of time
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment processes
