Six Pints Collective is currently seeking a Brewer/Operations Technician to join our Brewing team at our Brewery based in Creemore, Ontario! This role is at the heart of what the brewery is all about. It is the hard work and attention to detail at this point in the process that ensures there is beer of the highest quality, prepared in the correct amounts, within the specified timelines. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Brewing Operations:
- Controlling and monitoring automated brewing operations
- Ensuring product specifications and process efficiencies are within target
Cellar Operations:
- Preparing yeast and fermentation tanks for brewing operations
- Manual material handling of malts and hops
- CIP operations
Filter and Centrifuge Operations:
- Process beer for packaging and liaise with cellar and packaging operations
- Run high-speed operations of centrifugation, filtration, and CIP processes
- Maintain equipment and high degree of site hygiene
General Maintenance and Continuous Improvement:
- Participate in our Preventative Maintenance program
- Aid in troubleshooting, equipment repair and new equipment commissioning
- Lead or participate in projects related to safety, efficiency, quality, or other continuous improvement
- Other related tasks as assigned by the Brewmaster
QUALIFICATIONS
- Ticketed trade an asset including HVAC, Millwright, Electrical or other
- Process oriented and mechanically inclined
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
- Desire to continually improve yourself, grow and develop within the company
- Flexible schedule willing to work a variety of shift and roles on a 24-hour rotating schedule including weekends
