REPORTING TO: Outlet's Manager

RESPONSIBILITES:

• Greet customers and maintain a friendly demeanor throughout their experience
• Take special note of food allergies or preferences and be able to communicate clearly to kitchen staff
• Understand and communicate what is on the menu, making recommendations if necessary
• Accurately deliver food to customers, ensuring order is correct and appealing before taking it to the table
• Periodically check in with customers ensuring their meal is satisfactory, be attentive, and respond to additional requests as needed
• Keep serving station stocked as well as keeping section clean and prepared for new guests
• Follow applicable food service safety regulations and best practices
• Able to stand on feet for hours at a time and lift up to 25 pounds of weight
• Communicate well with coworkers and customers and always maintain personable and professional communication
• Handle money accurately and honestly, using the point-of-sale systems

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Highly organized and time efficient
• 1-2 years previous food and beverage serving experience
• Ability to handle difficult situations, accommodate special requests
• Able to maintain a flexible work schedule, including weekends and holidays
• Ability to speak in both official languages is considered an asset

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $15.30 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
