As a Physiotherapy Assistant / Clinic Administrator, in this role the staff will be required to complete various tasks for the Practitioners as well as for the the other staff and clinic as a whole. The physio-assistant will be required to help with patient care during busy times and will also be required to help with clinic admin work.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS: Excellent command in communication with a very friendly & hospitable patient approach are essential requirements for this job. Being a friendly team player is also expected. Must be efficient and must be able to work with minimum direction.

PREFERRED PROFILE: Someone with experience in a clinic is preferred and knowledge in the field will be a positive. A good candidate will be aware of the human body / anatomy, and have knowledge in regards to exercise science (Eg. Kinesiology/Biology/Healthcare backgrounds). Working knowledge of OCF MVA forms and/or EHC/WSIB will also be an asset. Previous experience working with scheduling software would be an asset.

JOB TYPE: Both Full-time and Part-time opportunities available.

SALARY: Excellent compensation commensurate with candidate's qualification.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Please note that we are looking only for candidates that have availability to work past the summer. If you are currently in school, and don't have full-day availability, this role may not suit you.

WORK NATURE: In addition to the various physio-assistant work that is expected to be performed including assisting the practitioners with various modalities, etc., the admin role includes maintaining patient files, setting-up appointments, confirming and following up with clients, inputting payments in accordance with guidelines and procedures in addition to the other pertinent tasks in the daily operation of the clinic.

Pay: $16.55-$19.00 per hour

  • 10 hour shift
  • 12 hour shift
  • 8 hour shift
  • Every Weekend
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed
