Landscape Equipment Operator

Dol Turf Restoration Ltd., the recognized leader in sports and golf turf management, is looking for a Landscape Equipment Operator to join our team. If you have a keen interest in sports and golf and would like to work on the best properties in the province this position might be for you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Load and secure equipment onto trailers and float equipment in order to transport the equipment to various job sites
• Perform turf maintenance tasks that may include but are not limited to: (i) operating a tractor with attachments to perform aerating, (ii) fertilizing, (iii) overseeding, and (iv) topdressing.

Key requirements:

• Experience operating skid steers and farm tractors with attachments
• Experience loading and securing equipment onto trailers and towing a trailer with a truck
• Previous sports field and/or golf course maintenance experience is preferred
• Experience with irrigation systems and/or or spraying is an asset
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting/carrying fertilizer/seed bags up to 25kg
• Ability to work independently and in various weather conditions
• AR, AZ or DZ license preferred
• Clean abstract and reliable transportation to our shop
• Criminal record check required

Employment will be full-time seasonal from April to November. Average hours per week is approximately 45- 50 hours. Wages will be based on skills and experience.
