Ranch Camp Cook

The Douglas Lake Cattle Company is pleased to offer a full-time permanent employment opportunity as a ranch cook at our Douglas Lake division. Live and work in one of the most beautiful locations in Canada.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Cooking breakfast, lunch and dinner for 20 /- people at our Home Ranch location

• Shift rotation is 7 days on and 7 days off

• Ensure kitchen and eating area are clean and sanitized

• Determine food and supply needs

• Control and minimize waste

• Comply with safety regulations and procedures

Qualifications

• Must have valid Food Safe Certification

• Must have at least one (1) year cooking experience

• Strong working knowledge of food prep techniques, cooking methods and safety and sanitation practices

• Must have ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds

• Familiarity with general kitchen equipment and appliances

• Must have valid Driver’s Licence

• Comfortable standing, stopping, squatting, twisting and moving frequently
