Job Title: Dental Assistant
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Certified Level II Dental Assistant for a fast paced exciting Pediatric Dental Specialty practice to work Monday to Friday day time hours; no weekends. We are looking for a terrific team player with a great attitude to learn, be able to multi-task and have great communication skills. Experience in Abeldent dental software is an asset but not essential, we are willing to train the appropriate candidate. We are a paperless practice.
All candidates area required to follow the RCDSO requirements and all candidates must be fully vaccinated.
For the right candidate with Level II training we are open to review qualifications for our busy practice.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Four handed chair side dentistry in both office and hospital setting
- Support dentists and hygienists during dental procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations
- Sterilize and maintain dental instruments; all aspects of IPAC regulations
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Perform lab tasks as needed
- Reception duties which may include answering of telephone inquires, billing and appointment scheduling
- Perform lab tasks as needed
Experience:
- 1 year preferred

Requirements:
