Continuous Improvement Project Manager
Salary Range: $90,000 - $130,000

As
the Continuous Improvement Project Manager, you will be reporting to the
Continuous Improvement Program Director and will develop and manage pellet
operations enhancement & efficiency projects, evolving from concept and
scope to budget and ROI, completing the project approval process.
The
Continuous Improvement program mandate is to drive cost reduction and
continuous improvement initiatives across all Drax North American pellet
operations, while reducing carbon intensity per metric tonne.
You
will work closely with plant operations, engineering, and senior management to
define opportunities. You will be directly involved in defining the scope of
projects with Drax engineering teams (Process, Reliability, Automation,
Capital), developing budgets and benefits to support the Capital Project
approval process, and subsequent project execution.
About
You
As
an ideal candidate, you would have at least 5 years manufacturing experience in
plant management, process improvement and project management. You are able to
build a rapport and working relationship with key stakeholders, with a
collaborative and supportive approach to getting the job done. You are self
motivated, confident and able to challenge and influence where required.
