JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a talented and experienced Tattoo Artist to join our team working Wednesday through to Sunday's. As a Tattoo Artist, you will be responsible for creating unique and personalized tattoo designs for our clients. You will work closely with clients to understand their vision and provide expert advice on design and placement. Must be able to do walk in's. The ideal candidate will have a passion for artistry, excellent communication skills, and a strong portfolio showcasing their tattooing skills. Our studio is a clean and professional environment, applicants must have impeccable personal hygiene. Shop rate is 40/60 but this is negotiable.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Consult with clients to understand their tattoo ideas and preferences
- Provide expert advice on design, placement, and color choices
- Create custom tattoo designs that meet client expectations
- Ensure a clean and sterile work environment at all times
- Follow proper sanitation procedures and ensure client safety
- Maintain accurate records of client information, consent forms, and aftercare instructions
EXPERIENCE
- MINIMUM 5-10 years experience as a Tattoo Artist with a strong portfolio of previous work
- Proficient in various tattooing techniques, including shading, linework, and color blending
- Knowledge of different tattoo styles and the ability to adapt to client preferences
- Must supply their own tattoo machine, needles, and tubes
- Excellent communication skills to effectively consult with clients and understand their needs
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to create precise and intricate designs
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $75.00-$80.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 35 per week
