JOB POSTINGS: Food & Beverage Team Member (Full-time and part-time Seasonal)
Edmonton Country Club is seeking enthusiastic and outgoing individuals with an attention to detail to
join our team for the upcoming season.
SCOPE & GENERAL
Play a key role in the delivery of the club’s food and beverage services. Work in a fast-paced environment where your main goal each day is to provide great member experiences. Shifts will require most, if not all weekends in the summer/fall, and work late hours, including holidays.
POSITIONS OPEN & MAIN DUTIES
Restaurant Server
· Provide food and beverage service to our members in the Spike Family, Patios, Family Area, and 1896 Dining Room. Recommend and promote food and drinks. Work as a team to get the job done. Prior experience is an asset. Must have Proserve
Restaurant/Event Bartender
· All things beverages, this position will provide mostly service-related bartending in the Spike Bar and guest facing bartending to our many events including weddings and golf tournaments. Basic cocktail and wine knowledge and quick hands required. Must have Proserve
Event Server
· Teamwork at its finest. Event servers work together to set up beautiful rooms and provide seamless service to weddings, tournaments, and other events. Serving plated meals, pouring wine table side, and being the face of the club is what this position requires and more! Must have Proserve
Food Runner/Expo/Busser
· Entry level position into the food service industry. Be a key support piece in our busy restaurant. Ensure meals are complete and to the Chefs’ standard before presenting dishes to our members and guests. Keep your service area clean and ready for the next day. Assist servers as required.
Snack Shack Server
· Facilitate members on course enjoyment making sure they have the refreshments and snacks they need to enjoy a round. No retail or restaurant experience required but would be appreciated. Must have Proserve.
QUALIFICATIONS
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Being on your feet walking, standing, and bending over for up to 8 hours per shift. Carrying trays of drinks or dishes. Mentally being ‘switch on’ and engaged for entire shift.
