Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Framer to join our team. As a Framer, you will be responsible for constructing and assembling the framework of buildings and structures. This is a physically demanding role that requires heavy lifting and the use of various tools and equipment.
Responsibilities: - Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings - Measure, cut, and shape wood, metal, and other materials according to specifications - Assemble and erect the framework of buildings, including walls, floors, and roofs - Install windows, doors, siding, and insulation - Collaborate with other construction workers to ensure accurate and efficient completion of projects - Operate heavy equipment as needed for framing tasks - Use hand tools and power tools to complete framing tasks - Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment.
Qualifications: - Proven experience as a Framer or Carpenter - Proficient in using hand tools and power tools for framing tasks - Knowledge of blueprint reading and interpreting construction drawings - Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks - Experience with siding installation is a plus - Familiarity with welding techniques is a plus - Strong attention to detail and accuracy Please note that all positions at our company are paid positions.
