We're hiring for a client in Clairmont

Job description

Our client is an Oilfield Hauling company, seeking an experienced full time dispatcher for their Vac division. In collaboration with Management, Field Supervisors, and other departments as required, the Dispatcher is responsible for the day to day organization of drivers and trucks to the field.

Key responsibilities include:

• Coordinate all aspects of fluid movement
• Organize equipment and drivers
• Handle all incoming calls to dispatch using professional telephone etiquette
• Record hauling requirements from customers
• Provide timely support and information to company drivers, sub-contractors and owner operators, including instructions to lease locations.
• Coordinate with Field Supervisors to ensure drivers are operating in a professional manner and following S.O.P’s
• Coordinate with Ops Managers, as necessary, to ensure field issues are rectified and customers and operators satisfied.
• To ensure that methanol is supervised while on and offloaded in the yard.
• Work with maintenance staff to make sure truck maintenance is prioritized.
• Audit field tickets and enter into Axon.
• Issue PO’s when required.
• Make sure field staff hand in paperwork in a timely manner.
• Checking / monitoring weight and time bands.
• Attention to detail and diligent gathering of information for specialized job (use cheat sheet as guidance).
• Maintain honest communication with drivers.

• Strong Leadership skills
• Experienced oilfield dispatcher
• Problem Solving and Critical Thinking Skills
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage drivers effectively and efficiently
• Willingness to go above and beyond job duties as necessary (i.e. run tank trucks, swamping, assist on pumpers, etc.)
• Positive and team-orientated attitude
