Day Shift Hours: Monday to Friday 7:30am to 3:30pm

Starting rate $21.78

Afternoon Shift Hours: Monday to Friday 3:30pm to 11:30pm

Starting rate: $22.53 per hour

Night Shift Hours: Sunday to Thursday 11:30pm to 7:30am

Starting rate: $22.93 per hour

What you’ll do:

  • Set up & operate packaging machines
  • Package product while ensuring good seals and legible & accurate date codes
  • Understand work instructions and work order paperwork to complete customer work orders
  • Pile bags onto skids and wrap according to packaging slip sheet
  • Continually monitor the line and troubleshoot for problems
  • Perform quality checks
  • Changeover packaging for the machinery making necessary adjustments to ensure efficient packaging of product
  • Assist with sanitation duties as required to ensure work area is clean, tidy, and organized
  • Perform other duties as needed

What you’ll have:

  • A positive attitude!
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Reliable vehicle to travel to and from work (as there is no bus route that travels out here)
  • Previous packaging and manufacturing experience an asset
  • Fully capable of operating a packaging line (Mechanical aptitude, logical problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills required; basic maintenance knowledge of packaging lines and set up preferred)
  • Ability to continuously lift to 50lbs without assistance (rotating positions that allow for ergonomic breaks)
  • Able to work in a fast-paced work environment with fluctuating temperatures
  • Work well with others in a team environment
  • Good housekeeping and Basic knowledge of 5S systems
