Labourer - Solar Installer

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: We are looking for experienced laborers to become part of our Grande Prairie team. The individual should enjoy physical labour with a desire to serve others, self starter with enthusiasm for a career in renewable energy and be passionate about creating positive change.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Solar installation including racking install and carrying solar modules
• Carry solar modules up ladders and on steep roofs
• Participate in company safety
• Utilize and care for company vehicles and equipment

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experienced labourer
• Self-starter and able to work alone or as part of a team
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Proven organizational skills, including a high degree of attention to details
• A strong ability to problem solve individually and as a team
• Able to efficiently follow manuals and instructions for equipment installation
• Capable of climbing a ladder with heavy loads and comfortable working at heights
• Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
• Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions and away from home at times
• Current safety training such as first aid, fall arrest, and AWP would be an asset

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed

Supplemental pay types:

• Overtime pay
