As a Product Specialist, our committed team works diligently to organize upcoming items to our auctions; they organize, catalog, and list upcoming auction items by ensuring accuracy and timely uploading from everything from baubles to bureaus. What does a Product Specialist do?
- Timely posting of auction pieces to upcoming auction events
- Catalogue a balanced representation of lot items; we appeal to a diverse group of customers- from die-hard bidders to new visitors to the site so we need to appeal to everyone and every price point
- Ensure a strong presentation of items by supporting each listing with pictures that display the item as best as possible
- Testing items before upload, ensuring each ad properly depicts any item issues, i.e. missing pieces, no power, slight evidence of usage, etc.
- Working with little supervision; a driven candidate with self-discipline is paramount
What You Will Need To Succeed
- Consistent attendance, reliability and committed work ethic
- Ability to meet daily targets; we work on peace work so the faster and more accurate you are the more money you make!
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to read and speak English well
- Great organizational and time management skills
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Availability for full days, including Monday to Friday, and on a permanent full-time basis
- We typically do not work weekends but on occasion, a Saturday shift might occur
The Pay Range For This Role Is
$19.00 CAD per hour for the first two weeks of training and will transition to piece-work compensation model starting week three.
