Early Childhood Program Supervisor- Temporary, Maternity Cover

Fable Child Care Center/Our House is seeking a compassionate, team-leader, in the role of a Program Supervisor to successfully lead one daycare program and two out of school care programs.

The candidate is to have:

Level 3 ECE certification

First aid certified

Food Handling certification

Criminal record check dated no later than 6 months prior to hire date

Program Supervisor responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Relationship building with staff, families, school and community
• Promptly respond to emails and inquiries
• Managing and motivating staff
• Ensure training for new employees and provides ongoing training for all staff
• Staff scheduling ensuring ratio is met at all times. Extra support/staff are scheduled when required.
• Overseeing the implementation of programming and learning experiences for the children
• Provide performance evaluations for the staff
• Conduct monthly staff meetings
• Create and provide families with monthly newsletters
• Posting updates of the program on center’s private Facebook page
• Monthly claims and invoices

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Morinville, AB T8R 1R1: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
