FICS is seeking an experienced bookkeeper to work with our Director of Finance to manage the financial operations of several entities including a Not-for-profit and a charitable organization, Canadian Physicians for Aid and Relief, with ongoing health-strengthening programs in Ethiopia, Malawi, and Tanzania.
The bookkeeper is responsible for day to day bookkeeping as well as contributing to financial analysis and reporting. As a Bookkeeper, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of our organization. Your attention to detail, proficiency in accounting software, and strong analytical skills will contribute to accurate financial reporting and decision-making. This role will require some in-office work at our offices in downtown Ottawa. Working from home can be accommodated on some of days of the week, if preferred.
