Primary Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Maintain excellent customer service
- Use safe work practices to ensure safety of all staff and customers
- Complete required paperwork according to company policies, procedures and protocols
- Problem Solving and Trouble Shooting
- Diagnosing electrical and mechanical issues
- Service/Maintenance on equipment/ trailers
- Installation of accessories and equipment
- Maintain and organize shop area
- Other duties as required
Skills and Qualifications:
- Recognize the importance of providing quality workmanship and good customer service
- Education/Certification in Mechanics/2nd or 3rd year Apprentice Mechanic
- Shop experience
- Familiarity with mechanical and agricultural/trailer equipment (farming background would be an asset)
- Team player with a positive “can do” attitude
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to balance multiple priorities
- Have a great work ethic and eager to learn new things
- Good communication skills and willingness to help other team members
- Ability to safely lift, push, pull or carry heavy products, up to 55lbs on your own (as required)
- Capable of prioritizing activities, adaptable and focused
- A positive “can do” attitude and work well with others
- Good communication skills and willingness to help out other team members
- Clean drivers abstract and clean criminal record
- Have a great work ethic
