Position Summary:

The Program Manager plays a key role in the organization. As an overview, they have a leadership role in program development, implementation and evaluation; community partnership development; accreditation and quality improvement; human resource management and development (staff, volunteers and practicum students) and ensuring clients are actively engaged. Additionally, the Program Manager will deliver some direct services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Program Management:
  • Design, implement, and evaluate programs and services.
  • In co-ordination with the CEO, develop and manage program budgets.
  • Set program goals and objectives in alignment with the organization's mission and strategic plan.
  • Monitor program performance and implement improvements as needed.
  • Recruit and manage the Volunteer program as well as the Student Practicum program.
  • Staff Supervision and Development:
  • Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluation.
  • Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment.
  • Client Services:
  • Ensure high-quality, client-centered care is delivered consistently across all programs.
  • Address client concerns and feedback to improve service quality.
  • Compliance and Reporting:
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant federal and local regulations, as well as organizational policies.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date program records and documentation.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Build and maintain relationships with community partners, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders.
  • Represent the organization at community meetings, events, and professional conferences.
  • Advocate for the needs and interests of clients and the mental health community.
  • Quality Improvement:
  • Implement and monitor quality assurance and improvement initiatives.
  • Collect and analyze program data to measure outcomes and impact.
  • Identify and address gaps in services and areas for enhancement.

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree (preferred)

Experience:

  • Program management: 3 years (preferred)
  • Management: 3 years (required)

Language:

  • English (preferred)

Willingness to travel:

  • 100% (required)
