Cashier/Server

Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Server/Cashier to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while efficiently handling food orders and transactions. Additionally you have to assist with various kitchen tasks, including prepping ingredients for crusted items and other supporting duties to ensure efficient kitchen operations. You will play a crucial part in ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests, from taking orders to processing payments.

Duties

• Greet customers warmly and assist them with menu selections.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and relay them to the kitchen staff.
• Process cash and credit card transactions efficiently while ensuring accuracy in cash handling.
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods, to effectively upsell specials and promotions.
• Ensure compliance with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
• Assist with food preparation as needed, adhering to kitchen protocols and cleanliness standards.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and condiment stations.
• Manage time effectively during busy shifts to ensure all customer needs are met promptly.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with cashiering procedures and cash handling is essential.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and food handling regulations is a plus.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact positively with customers and team members.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.20-$18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 35 per week
