Overview
Responsible for increasing the velocity of brands in retail accounts within Alberta. Lead brand education and builds relationships with account-level key influencers & decision-makers. Responsible for the sell-in of strategic initiatives at key accounts and execution of industry events. .
Duties and Responsibilities
Educate Account Staff on brand key items with an emphasis on new items as they are sold
Schedule and administer on-site product promotions and signage
Builds relationships with key account gatekeepers (owners, budtenders, customers) and conducts staff training to build brand loyalty and knowledge
Monitors and maintains up-to-date awareness on product information, company initiatives and promotions, advertising, and industry trends
Improve merchandising and visibility of brands in accounts
Identify account opportunities/distribution gaps and initiate the sell-in of new items
Responsible for selling-in and in some cases executing strategic initiatives at key accounts
Responsible for performing surveys during account visits
Develops account detailed “Call List” with key contact and call schedule
Responsible for daily Pre-Plan of activities and daily/weekly recap of results and accomplishments to team manager
Manage budget, taking time to evaluate ROI’s and communicating successes/learnings
Propose new ideas/methods on how to improve performance, maintains a positive, can-do attitude, and influences others to gain support for an idea or cause
Responsible for product distribution and placement in conjunction with GND sales team
Collaborate and communicate store level plans with brand agents, Sales People, and Sales Mgmt. to ensure proper resource allocation
Perform other job-related duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Two years of industry-related sales experience within cannabis distribution, hospitality, or supplier community
Valid state motor vehicle operator’s license and ability to obtain and maintain auto liability insurance by State laws
Ability to communicate with enthusiasm for the product and category
Capable of managing multiple projects on tight deadlines and maintaining a high level of quality output
Comprehensive understanding of cannabis, growling methods and techniques, and recreational product assortment
Physical Demands
Physical demands with activity or condition for a considerable amount of time may include sitting and typing/keyboarding using a computer (e.g., keyboard, mouse, and monitor) or mobile device
Physical demands with activity or condition may include walking, bending, reaching, standing, squatting, and stooping
Physical demands with activity or condition for a considerable amount of time may include driving throughout the day with segments up to 2 hours
May require lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 56lbs
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $50,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
