Delivery Driver (Temporary)

The Driver/ Delivery person is responsible for loading and unleading the delivery vehicle (Class G) and delivering tires (light vehicle) directly to customers within the prescribed timeframe.

Responsibilities:

o Load and unload delivery trucks;

o Drive 16-foot pickup truck safely;

o Complete shipping documents;

Success Factors:

o Possess a valid Class G driver's license and have experience driving 16-foot pickup trucks;

o Ability to perform physical work and lift loads from 25 to 70lbs;

o Must have safety boots;

o Respect, sense of humor, commitment to health and safety;

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract, Seasonal
Contract length: 3 months

Pay: $20.35 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Flexible Language Requirement:

• French not required

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed

Supplemental pay types:

• Overtime pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Burlington, ON L7L 4X6: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Experience:

• delivery driving: 1 year (required)

Language:

• English (required)

Licence/Certification:

• Class G Licence (required)
