Position Summary
Installers - Glaziers will be responsible for commercial onsite installation of custom-made aluminum railings, aluminum and glass railings and frameless glass railing for interior and exterior.. The Installer must be capable and adept at using a variety of equipment, including power and hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Install metal and glass railings, which includes the following:

• Read and interpret plans, instructions, blueprints, structural drawings, and specifications to determine work activities • Measure, mark, and record openings and distances to lay out areas where construction work will be performed; cut, put together, measure or install metal railings and enclosures for glass paneled railing in various areas and structures; and position, join, align, and seal structural components.

Knowledge & Skills

• Ability to read building specifications, blueprints, and as-builds in order to effectively complete required installations
• Ability to perform strenuous physical labor, including lifting and carrying heavy objects, under adverse field conditions, at heights, and in all-weather conditions.
• Ability to work safely and practice safe lifting and handling procedures
• Ability to operate required equipment, including hand and power tools, in a safe manner
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to solve problems and resolve conflicts with team members and customers in a constructive manner.
• Ability to work in a team environment with minimum supervision and un-supervision.

Experience

• 2 years of experience measuring and installing framelessinterior and exterior glass railings and aluminum railings and fence.

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Other Requirements

• Must possess a valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Ability to safely lift 60 lbs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00-$30.00 per hour
