Title: Powersports Finance Manager

Job Overview: The Powersports Finance Manager oversees all financial aspects of the dealership's powersports sales, including financing, insurance, and aftermarket product sales. They are responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations governing vehicle financing and sales.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Services Management:
  • Manage the dealership's finance department, including hiring, training, and supervising finance staff.
  • Develop and implement strategies to maximize finance and insurance (F&I) revenue while providing excellent customer service.
  • Review and process finance applications, negotiate loan terms with financial institutions, and finalize vehicle financing arrangements.
  • Offer aftermarket products such as extended warranties, service contracts, and gap insurance to customers.
  • Compliance and Regulations:
  • Stay up-to-date with federal, state, and local regulations governing vehicle financing and dealership operations.
  • Ensure all finance and insurance paperwork is completed accurately and in compliance with legal requirements.
  • Train sales and finance staff on compliance procedures and best practices.
  • Customer Service:
  • Provide exceptional customer service throughout the vehicle purchasing process.
  • Explain financing options and terms clearly to customers and address any questions or concerns they may have.
  • Resolve customer complaints or issues related to financing or aftermarket products.
  • Sales Support:
  • Collaborate with sales staff to structure deals that meet both customer needs and dealership profitability goals.
  • Offer guidance and support to sales staff on financing options and strategies for maximizing F&I revenue.
  • Reporting and Analysis:
  • Prepare regular reports on finance department performance, including F&I penetration rates, product sales, and profitability.
  • Analyze trends in vehicle financing and aftermarket product sales to identify opportunities for improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field (preferred).
  • Previous experience in automotive or powersports finance, with a strong understanding of vehicle financing processes and regulations.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in finance and dealership management software systems.

Additional Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive customer information with integrity.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00-$120,000.00 per year

Flexible Language Requirement:

  • French not required

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
