We are located in downtown Toronto between Toronto’s Chinatown and Kensington Market, and has been a landmark location for over 50 years. We serve a vibrant community of artists, new design , architecture students and professionals, and through our website and social media, creatives worldwide.
*We are currently seeking a full-time Website Designer/ Social Media Coordinator.

Responsibilities:
- Maintenance of Shopify storefront, including but not limited to:
- Theme Updating, Product Image Uploads, Product Description, Apps Management, User functionality, General Optimization
- Updates for Menus, Shop App Pages, Collections and Shipping
- Keeping the USA site up to date as well as any other shipping locales we add
- Knowledge of video editing using Instagram, TikTok, Adobe Premiere/Rush or other video editing software
- Creation of short form video for Reels, TikTok, and long form for Youtube
- Manage and maintain our presence on Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter and Tiktok.
- Monitor the social media calendars for upcoming events
- Communicate with followers and customers on various social media platforms
- Strong graphic design skills in Photoshop and Illustrator
- Designing signs, banners, and other in-store materials
- Knowledge of product photography and photo editing
- Photographing new product for website and social media
- Stay up to date with latest social media technology
- Communication with staff in regards to sales and promotions
Nice to Have:
- Identification and collaborations with influencers across Canada who align with our brand objectives
- Skilled at writing long form blogs
- Maintaining and growing mailing list
- Assisting with planning and implementation of sales, events and promotions
- Experience with Mailchimp or similar email scheduling software
- Creation of labels for in-house product lines
Qualifications:
- Degree or diploma in Web Design, Marketing, or other relevant experience
- 2 years of experience in Social Media marketing
- 2 years of web design
- Advanced knowledge of Shopify
- Relevant experience with Later or other social media scheduling tools
- Skillful content creator that will help grow users in our social media campaigns
- Proficient in Adobe creative suite
- Able to work independently or with a team
- Highly organized with a high attention to detail
- Strong oral and written communication skills are a must
- Experience with art materials strongly preferred
- Creative ideas are a must
- Willing to try new ideas and take chances.
