Restaurant Cashier

Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry, excellent math skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.

Duties:
- Operate POS systems to handle customer transactions accurately and efficiently
- Greet customers and provide information on products or services
- Maintain clean and organized checkout areas
- Handle cash, credit, and other forms of payment in a secure manner
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
- Assist with stocking shelves and monitoring inventory levels

Skills:
- Proficient in basic math for cash handling and transactions
- Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and helpful attitude
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with cashiering duties in a food service setting is preferred
