Dishwasher in Retirement Residence - Part Time

Hazeldean Gardens is an exciting and new Retirement Residence nestled in Stittsville, with all the luxuries and comforts of being at home.

We are in search of a dedicated dishwasher to join our culinary team under the guidance of our Executive Chef to support our exceptional quality dining experience for our residents.

Availability: Part time with shifts from 7am-3pm on weekdays and some weekends. Potential for shifts from 12pm-8pm occasionally.

Must haves:

• A valid Safe Food Handling Certificate
• Demonstrates a positive attitude necessary to meet the goals and standards of the Residences requirements
• Vulnerable Sector Police Record Check
• TB Test

Salary: $18.40 /hour

Job Duties:

• Operate an industrial dishwasher, washing dishes and glassware by hand when necessary
• Unload dishes, silverware, and glassware promptly and store them in the appropriate places
• Carry out basic cleaning tasks around the premises
• Assist chefs and waitstaff as required, especially during peak hours
