Our work environment includes:

• 3 hours per day ($250/day)

Kitchen Exhaust Cleaning

-ability to pull small trailer in a safe/convenient location

-take a few before pictures: hood, inside hood, filters, suppression tag

-unload some equipment and supplies

-examine hood, start to install plastic on hood, into buckets

-scrape areas of thick grease

-start to chemical Hood and filters, let sit while hook up hoses

-set up ladder in a safe manner

-go up to roof with chemical/long scraper and remove fan from ductwork using hinge kit if available

-chemical the top and underside of fan, and down duct work, scrape the ductwork

-start to wash the top/bottom of fan while allowing water to drain down the ductwork

-take after pics of fan bottom/top and duct work

-add more chemical to heavy grease areas of hood/filters if needed

-begin 1st washing of filters outside, add more chemical to heavy grease areas and let sit

-start the 1st washing inside of hood, all edges, corners, sides.

-Let hood dry while starting the final wash of the filters, bring filters inside

-Complete drying of Hood, apply stainless steel cleaner to make shine.

-Install all filters and take pictures.

-remove all plastic for hood, throw away in outside large container

-discard waste water down grease trap or mop water sink

-clean all sinks and counter top

-Final Check of Hood for Cleanliness and Shine

-mop kitchen area fully for perfection, must be very clean

- Restock supplies as needed

- Follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines

- Report any maintenance or repair needs to the supervisor

Requirements:

- Previous experience in commercial kitchen exhaust cleaning preferred

- Ability to use a ladder, pressure washer, light lifting and physical tasks as required

- Strong time management skills to complete assigned tasks within given timeframes

- Knowledge of facilities maintenance practices is a plus

- Excellent customer service skills to interact with clients and address their needs

- Effective communication skills to work as part of a team and follow instructions

- Familiarity with power tools and hand tools used in custodial work
