Cleaner (part-time)

Overview:
Hodgins Building Centre Port Elgin is seeking a dedicated and detailed cleaner to join our team.

Responsibilities:
- Perform cleaning tasks to ensure the store is presentable
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding cleaning schedules and tasks
- Utilize hand tools and power tools as needed for cleaning and maintenance duties
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any cleaning-related concerns promptly
- Demonstrate time management skills to complete cleaning tasks efficiently
- Engage in duties such as trash removal, sweeping, mopping, and dusting
- Assist in facilities maintenance by reporting any repair or maintenance needs promptly
- Adhere to safety protocols while handling heavy lifting tasks

Experience:
- Experience providing cleaning services is preferred
- Familiarity with using power tools and hand tools for cleaning purposes
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Prior experience in customer service is a plus

RRSP Matching becomes available after one year.

Wage is Negotiable.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 – 24 per week
