POSITION SUMMARY
This role will lead a team of two direct reports and play a crucial part in shaping our mortgage portfolio business intelligence strategies and operations.
MAJOR ELEMENTS OF THE ROLE
Key accountabilities of this position include:
- Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of two direct reports, providing guidance, support, and mentorship. Foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture.
- Team Development: Identify training and development needs for team members to enhance their skills and capabilities. Conduct performance reviews and set goals for team members.
- Business Intelligence Strategy: Develop and execute the Operations analytics strategy to support the broader operations teams goals and objectives. Identify opportunities for data-driven improvements and optimizations.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Oversee the collection, analysis, and interpretation of data to generate actionable insights. Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and data visualizations for stakeholders.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to understand their data needs and deliver insights that drive informed decisions.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Qualifications
- Completed post secondary education in Analytics, Business, Finance or equivalent
- Demonstrated expertise with SQL, report creation and automation
- Understanding of Predictive Analytics
- Advanced Excel skills
- Quantitative analysis and financial modeling skills
- Experience leading and developing teams
