Class 5 Driver

We are seeking a Class 5 Driver to join our team! You will be responsible for safely operating a truck with a capacity of at least 26,000 pounds Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW).

Responsibilities:

• Safely and efficiently operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to designated locations
• Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of items
• Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries
• Verify the accuracy of delivery orders and obtain necessary signatures or proof of delivery
• Communicate with dispatch or customers regarding any delays, issues, or changes in delivery schedule
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance, reporting any mechanical problems or damages
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations during deliveries

Qualifications:

• 3 years of tractor trailer truck driving experience
• A valid Class 5 License and a clean driving record
• Able to lift cases up to 60lbs.
• Flexibility with working conditions (ex. Working independently, hours of work, weather and road conditions, etc.)
• Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written

Pay: $23.00-$26.00 per hour
