Cannabis Cultivation Labourer

Hybrid Infusion, the parent company behind Virtue Cannabis, is an independently owned and operated licensed cannabis producer, driven by innovation and an unwavering commitment to excellence.We are currently seeking Cannabis Cultivation Labourers to join our team!

This is your chance to:

• Collaborate with our expert team across all stages of cannabis production, ensuring high standards of quality and compliance.
• Nurture cannabis plants throughout their growth cycle, employing integrated pest management (IPM) and preventive measures.
• Adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs), industry regulations, and best practices.
• Maintain and calibrate cultivation equipment to optimize plant health and productivity.
• Maintain meticulous record-keeping and document cultivation activities for traceability and compliance.
• Practice effective irrigation and watering techniques with both manual and automated systems.
• Skillfully trim and maintain the health of live plants throughout their growth cycle.
• Maintain a safe and hygienic environment by sanitizing all cultivation equipment, workstations, and facilities.
• Safely handle concentrated materials following strict safety-oriented procedures.

Qualifications:

• Local to the Edmonton area.
• Comfortable working in warm and humid cultivation spaces, while wearing the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) provided (including but not limited to sanitary clothing covers, gloves, mask, respirator, and/or eye protection)
• Capable of performing physical activities and/or repetitive movements throughout shifts. 
• Lift and move objects weighing up to 50 lbs (22kg). 
• Comfortable with squatting, bending, and kneeling while utilizing tools and performing cleaning and maintenance tasks. 
• Fully vaccinated against Covid-19, with proof of vaccination.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 – 40 per week
