The vice-presidency of the general funds and fixed income portfolio management team is looking for a Student - Analyst, Economics and Strategy to work with iA Global Asset Management.

Your future responsibilities:

• Assist the team in gathering and analyzing economic and financial data and in producing detailed analyses and reports supporting investment decisions.
• Explore and identify alternative sources of economic and financial data.
• Document and maintain the documentation of discretionary portfolio views.
• Support the chief strategist in designing presentations for our clients and partners.
• Support the team's programming efforts through the production of tools and data processing.

Desired profile :

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in progress in the fields of economics or finance.
• High rigor, proactivity, autonomy, and excellent teamwork skills.
• Excellent ability to simplify information.
• Proficiency in Python programming.
• Knowledge of the Bloomberg environment is an asset.
• Excellent linguistic skills in French and English, both orally and in writing, due to frequent interactions with internal Anglophone and Francophone colleagues or partners across Canada.
• Interest in obtaining the CFA title.

• Note that the position is full-time for the summer.
