JOB SUMMARY:
The Hydrovac Operator works with a Hydrovac Swamper and reports to Superintendents to operate Tornado Hydrovac trucks. This role also includes the maintenance of the equipment, performing safety checks and site evaluations as required.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Operating 5 - 6 days a week, 8 – 10 hours a day.
Dig and expose underground utilities with Hydrovac.
Perform daily preventative maintenance and mechanical checks.
Ensure safe operations of equipment.
Maintain and clean equipment when finished using it.
Site setup and cleanup.
Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
Class 3Q Driver’s License.
Ability to lift 75lbs.
Outdoor construction experience.
Experience operating in urban environments with knowledge of DOT restrictions and regulations.
Basic Hydrovac mechanical aptitude.
Experience with Tornado Hydrovac units is considered an asset.
Underground utility or telecommunication experience is an asset.
