Accounts Receivable, Credit and Collections Analyst for the Joseph Group of Companies.

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and results oriented individual for the position of Credit & Collections (Full time) analyst.

Job Responsibilities:

• Analyze credit applications, establish credit limits and review credit limits.
• Responsible for day-to-day collections, account file reviews, releasing of credit held orders and recommendations of credit worthiness.
• Develop and maintain key account relationships in support of company goals and credit policies.
• Promote and contribute to the success of partnership between all departments through continuous communication.
• Researching account disputes and billing discrepancies and performing account/payment reconciliations.
• Initiate collection calls and coordinate with account executives for escalated receivables issues.
• Document in customer accounts for the collection efforts.

What you bring

• Minimum 3-5 years high volume collections and account receivable reconciliations.
• Transportation industry preferred.
• Exceptional Microsoft office skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong computer literacy in ERP systems and Microsoft Office – specifically excel.
• Post-secondary education in accounting or business-related studies preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to prevent, analyze and solve problems in a dynamic environment.
• Structured independent thinker with ability to work as part of a national team.
• Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong work ethic with proven ability to adapt to changing priorities with a positive attitude in an entrepreneurial environment
• Honest and team oriented, active at cultivating business & workplace relationships.
