Installer (Sheet Goods)

Journey Flooring has a great opportunity for someone to join the Installation team in Langley as a Labourer.

This teammate will be reporting directly to the Project Manager/Coordinator. Journey Flooring provides flooring for new construction and renovations with a focus in contractor sales, commercial installation, residential installations and high end custom homes. Job Duties Include:

Install a variety of commercial flooring materials, including but not limited to carpet, vinyl, laminate, and tile.
Interpret project specifications and blueprints to determine the layout and installation requirements.
Must be able to install Resilient sheet goods and flash coving.
Prepare surfaces for installation, ensuring proper adhesion and smooth, level substrates.
Collaborate with project managers, designers, and other team members to achieve project goals.
Identify and troubleshoot issues during the installation process, providing effective solutions.
Maintain a high level of attention to detail to ensure the quality and precision of installations.
Adhere to safety protocols and industry standards to create a secure working environment.

We Require:

Minimum 5 years of flooring installation experience (MUST HAVE RED SEAL)
High School or secondary diploma or equivalent (MUST HAVE RED SEAL)
Experience in a warehouse environment
A clean Class 5 licence
Criminal record check
Good knowledge of the LowJourney Flooring has a great opportunity for someone to join the Installation team in Langley as a Labourer.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $36.00-$41.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
