Role reports to: Quality Laboratory Supervisor Location: Guelph, Canada Travel %: 0 What you will do As a member of the Analytical Quality Laboratory team, the Quality Technician II is responsible for supporting team objectives through execution of chemical and physical tests to ensure the quality of our products throughout their life-cycle. The Quality Technician II will ensure compliance with Kenvue policies, internal requirements and Regulatory requirements. Strong people skills and the ability to thrive in a multidisciplinary, goal driven environment are key attributes. Key Responsibilities - Sampling, cleaning and upkeep of the QA Sampling room, Sample login and delivery to Analytical laboratory. - Testing of Raw materials and Packaging components (e.g. through Lab books, ELN, Catalyst LIMS, SAP, other Software systems) or testing of Bulk, Finished Goods, and Marketed stability solid and liquid dose products. - Maintaining the Laboratory and workspace in an Audit-Ready State, communication of priorities with impacted departments (e.g. Manufacturing, Laboratory, Planning). - Support to Laboratory and Manufacturing Investigations including root cause analysis and documenting investigational activities. - Ownership and implementation of continuous improvement projects. - Supporting basic lab activities such as solution preparation, housekeeping, GMP duties, and sample management

Qualifications:

What we are looking for Required Qualifications - Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in chemistry or a related field, or equivalent experience within the pharmaceutical industry. - Previous analytical laboratory experience in a Quality, or R&D environment in the pharmaceutical, food or water industries is an asset. - Knowledge of GMP regulations. - Strong digital literacy - Enjoys working to multiple deadlines in a dynamic and fast-paced team environment. Desired Qualifications - Familiarity with USP guidance and guidelines - Knowledge of Process Excellence/Lean - Familiarity with computer software and strong personal computer skills - Self awareness and flexibility - Results and performance driven - Good technical writing, verbal communication, and problem-solving skills - Other key skills include attention to detail, being able to work effectively within a team and as an individual, and able to prioritize tasks.
