Overview

Keslow Camera is a motion picture camera rental house that provides cameras and equipment for big screen features, television shows, and other various media outlets. Our Toronto location is looking for a Shipping and Receiving Clerk to provide hands-on support to our Floor Operations Team.

Position Summary:

The Shipping & Receiving Clerk is responsible for day to day logistic operations in the Shipping & Receiving Department. This employee carries out efficient and timely shipments of our gear. In addition, other operations related tasks are assigned.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide outstanding customer service to existing and potential clients and vendors with a courteous attitude and resourceful behavior
  • Develop a basic knowledge and understanding of the camera equipment and supplies used in the film and digital rental industry
  • Receive, scan, and document equipment returned by clients
  • Provide help and support other operational tasks outside of shipping & receiving, which may include but not limited to assisting the Preparation Technicians, going out on runs, or helping out in any general area within our office.
  • Identify any issues with damaged equipment, ensure the problems have been documented, and inform the appropriate member of Camera Service
  • Deliver and pick-up equipment, when necessary, to and from client sites on time
  • Log equipment, supplies, and materials going in and out of the company
  • Communicate effectively with the Shipping and Receiving Supervisor to ensure the smooth transition of equipment to and from other company departments
  • Coordinate with Rental Department to finalize last-minute equipment changes
  • Utilize FedEx, UPS, and courier service to ship, track, bill and deliver equipment properly and on time
  • Assist with maintaining the company’s facility including, but not limited to, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, scrubbing, etc.

Qualifications:

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Previous experience in logistics a plus

Previous experience with international travel is a plus

Familiarity with Mac operating system

Exceptional Customer Service skills (friendly, courteous and helpful)

Working Conditions and Physical Effort:

  • Lifting up to 40-50 lbs. of cases and/or equipment
  • Sitting and standing for long periods of time
  • Potential overtime required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
