Our Maintenance team is customer focused, working in a fast-paced environment, and achieving a high degree of customer satisfaction. We are looking for a Stores Attendant to join our Maintenance team on the day shift. If you are customer service focused, being highly organized, we invite you to apply. This is a full-time, permanent position on the day shift

In this role, you will be responsible to:

• Provide customer service to departments and individuals throughout Loewen
• Manage inventory including cycle counts, reorders, identifying obsolete stock
• Categorize new inventory items, creating item numbers, and assigning locations
• Receive material and ensure that shelves are stocked
• Create and review purchase orders
• Conduct local pick-ups
• Track and contact vendors for late Purchase Orders
• Track propane tanks
• Provide back-up for the Maintenance Coordinator
• Other related duties as required

You will bring:

• Ability to work independently within a team focused environment
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills (English)
• Computer knowledge
• Valid driver’s license
• Able to lift up to 50lbs frequently, with the ability to occasionally lift up to 75lbs
