Provide quality and timely repairs and maintenance to primarily orchestral stringed instruments (violins, violas, cellos, and basses) specifically for our rental fleet.
Inspect musical instruments to determine the requirement for repair.
Perform services ranging from basic set-ups (restring, bridge/soundpost/peg replacement, etc) to more complex repairs (neck resetting, crack repair, etc) and minor bow work (rehairs, tip face and grip work).
Maintain accurate and detailed computer records of all active repairs
Maintain a clean and organized workplace
Job Requirements
Completion of college or other courses relevant to musical instruments repair recommended
Secondary School education is required
Proven strong work ethic and commitment
Ability to take initiative and work independently
Positive attitude and steady composure
Good organizational skills and attention to detail
