Pickup and Delivery Driver (Saskatoon)

Position Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Class 1 Pickup and Delivery Driver to join our team in Saskatoon. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting full loads and Less-Than-Truckload (LTL) shipments efficiently and safely. This role requires a self-motivated individual who thrives under minimal supervision and consistently demonstrates punctuality, loyalty, and productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

Safely operate a company vehicle to perform pickups and deliveries within Saskatoon and surrounding areas.

Load, unload, and secure cargo, including lifting, pulling, and pushing heavy items.

Ensure timely and accurate delivery of full loads and LTL shipments.

Adhere to assigned routes, schedules, and delivery instructions.

Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in safe operating condition.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle.

Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to resolve delivery issues or delays.

Accurately complete delivery paperwork and maintain logs as required.

Skills and Qualifications:

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (specific license requirements depend on vehicle size).

Physical ability to lift, pull, push, and move heavy items (up to 70 lbs).

Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Strong time-management skills and attention to detail.

Ability to follow directions and adapt to changing schedules or priorities.

Punctual, dependable, and loyal with a strong work ethic.

Experience with LTL freight or delivery driving is an asset.

Working Conditions:

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Casual

Pay: $25.00-$27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 – 48 per week
