Dump Truck Driver

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Dump Truck and Transfer Trailer Driver to join our team. As a Dump Truck and Transfer Trailer Driver, you will be responsible for transporting materials and goods to and from various locations in Metro Vancouver. This is a vital role in our organization, ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of materials.

Duties:
- Operate dump truck and transfer trailer to transport materials such as gravel, sand, dirt, or rocks
- Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving
- Perform routine maintenance on the dump truck, including checking fluids, tires, and brakes
- Report any mechanical issues or accidents to the supervisor immediately
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and expenses
- Adhere to company policies and procedures

Skills:
- Commercial driving experience with a valid CDL license
- Knowledge of freight transportation regulations and procedures
- Basic automotive repair skills for minor maintenance tasks
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely deliveries

Salary: From $31.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed

Experience:

• Commercial vehicle: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• Class 1 Licence (preferred)

Ability to Commute:

• Surrey, BC V3W 3E8 (required)

Ability to Relocate:

• Surrey, BC V3W 3E8: Relocate before starting work (preferred)
