Duties:
Reporting to the Superintendent, the Water Operation Technician will be responsible for department staff on a project site. The role involves a series of tasks as project coordinator, senior waterway inspector, survey crew chief, hydro-metric survey technician, and design and graphics technician. The Water Operation Technician performs assigned technical engineering-related functions and is responsible for independent decisions related to daily operations, ensuring that standards, specifications, policies, procedures, and sound construction and survey practices are followed when in the field.
