The IT Co-Op Student will assist the IT Department with day-to-day functions.

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Installing, configuring and maintaining operating systems, servers, software and hardware systems in support of business operations.
• Server hardware & software implementations and maintenance, including routine database of supporting documentation.
• Handling support requests with timeliness and accuracy.
• Conduct IT related training with new hires and users as needed.
• Manage Mobile Devices, including hardware, vendor contracts and records.

Educational & Professional Requirements:

• Currently enrolled in a post-secondary institution in Information Technology or Computer Science.
• Strong organizational skills, interpersonal skills, and communication skills (both verbal and written).
• Experience with personal computer hardware and software, local and remote network systems including advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. (i.e., Outlook, Excel, Word).
• Experience with Windows 10 Operating system troubleshooting including hardware support.
• Adhere to and apply established and accepted IT standards, methods, practices and techniques to IT policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Be discreet and maintain confidentiality and security of company information.
• Valid Driver’s license with access to a vehicle an asset as travel to various project locations to administer IT support on site across Toronto/GTA may be required.
