Photography Assistant

We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Photographer's Assistant to join our team to help with a four-hour sports event in Ottawa, on May 26, 2024. As a Photographer's Assistant, you will work closely with our professional photographer to ensure smooth operations during the photoshoot. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about photography and looking to gain hands-on experience in the industry.

Responsibilities:
- Assist photographer in setting up equipment, lighting, and props for the photoshoot.
- Help with organizing and maintaining photography equipment and space.
- Collaborate with photographer to ensure the needs and expectations are met.
- Capture behind-the-scenes footage or assist with video recording during photoshoot.
- Provide general administrative support such as scheduling appointments, and managing client inquiries

Skills:
- Proficiency in using DSLR and video cameras.
- Experience with lighting, composing, and capturing images.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate effectively with photographers and clients.
- Excellent understanding of photography techniques and equipment
