PRIMARY FUNCTION
Pump Assembler / Service Technician is to perform all necessary assembly and field work.

PRIMARY TASK
· Read and interpret detailed drawings
· Use shop paperwork to complete pump assembly
· Install purchase parts and sub-assemblies
· Install pumps and components
· Update paperwork to reflect any changes
· Travel to customer site to do repairs / service / Start-up & commissioning on our equipment (may include out of town / overnight stays paid by company)
· Disassemble, clean, and inspect pumps and components for repair and compile service reports for customers
· Operate tools and equipment in safe manner
· Follow safe operating and lifting procedures of overhead cranes
· Operate forklift according to safe operating procedures
· Hydro / Performance test equipment prior to shipment / on-site
· Prepare assemblies and parts for shipping by ensuring cleanliness, and proper packaging / crating
QUALIFICATIONS
· Must have mechanical aptitude and be familiar with rotating equipment, preferably pumps
· Millwright certification considered an asset
· Valid G license
· Forklift license, or willing to obtain
· Competitive salary based on experience
